Tour 2012
Hands down everyone's "favorite" with over eleven years traveling with guests along the Lewis & Clark Trail.  Your own flotilla of canoes meander among the steep White Cliffs of the Missouri just as Lewis wrote "it seemed as if those seens of visionary inchantment would never end."  Then off you go to the infamous Bitterroot Mountains where you will camp and walk among the footsteps of the intrepid explorers.  Nez Perce and Lewis & Clark sites you will visit include:   Snowbank, The Smoking Place, Lonesome Cove, Indian Post Office, The Sinque Hole and more.  This tour is outfitted, guided and catered by two of America' s finest outfitters hand-selected for your pleasure.  Enjoy an evening visit by Captain Meriwether Lewis and journey into the past with the safety and comforts of the twenty-first century.  Your tent will be set up for you each evening with beverages, hors d' oeuvres, fine food and evening campfire discussions awaiting your arrival.
                                                                     9 nights (4 lodging, 5 camping) August 4-12, 2012  $3245

[
]   Jefferson's Virginia Tour 2013    The best of Virginia Thomas Jefferson style.  Visit Monticello, Poplar Forest, Tuckahoe Plantation (Jefferson's boyhood home) and more destinations with Jefferson scholar Clay Jenkinson.  Jefferson enjoyed his books, his wine and his gardens.  You will too.  A visit to Jefferson's rare book collection at the Library of Congress and the Special Collections at the University of Virginia are among a few of the unique treats in store for you.  Enjoy an evening dining with The third President of the United States in Richmond, the founding Father's Restaurant (serving "true food and drink"), in Washington DC, and a salon dinner (inspiring great discussions) in Charlottesville.  ... and more.
